Venue Rental

Jackson Breezy is a cozy venue to host your event where amplified music is not needed, and where invited guest can be limited to 25 persons inclusive of patron.

EVENT HOSTING COST for Parties, Weddings, Limes, Games Nights, Baby Showers, etc.

POOL EVENTS

- BBD$600 for up to 4hrs*, with each additional hour or part thereof, costing BBD$125.
- The decision and cost to have a lifeguard on duty is at the Renter.

Non-POOL EVENTS

- BBD$300 for events finishing before 6pm or
- BBD$400 otherwise, for up to 4hrs., with each additional hour or part thereof, costing BBD$100.


Terms and Conditions:

  1. The Renter must be 18 years of age to rent this property. By signing this agreement in person or agreeing to it online or by making an initial deposit, the Renter acknowledge being 18 years of age or older. Proof of age with valid ID is required at check-in.
  2. The Renter accepts responsibility for the conduct of all persons the Renter invites or allows on to the property during your stay with us.
  3. House parties and social events, including dinners and family reunions and/or ANY activity that would involve non-Registered Guest being on property, are strictly prohibited without written authorization from the Host.
  4. Event Resources - the use of resources beyond the pool, deck chairs, lawn area, and apartment requires the renter to submit a written request to the Host via WhatsApp at least 3 days prior to the event. 
    ALL REQUESTS REQUIRES WRITTEN APPROVAL FROM THE HOST.  
    Examples of resources that require a written request via WhatsApp to the Host are:
  5. - the use of the BBQ grill,
    - electricity for anything other than for the playing of music, e.g. a jumping tent
    - water via the venue yard pipes
    If approval is given, there may be an additional cost.
  6. The costs and use of a lifeguard is at the discretion of the Renter.
  7. No confetti of any kind or other small items that spread easily, like small balloons after they are deflated, are to be used on Property.
  8. The driveways must be kept clear at ALL times. All event activities must be limited to the pool, the pool deck, the front & apartment patios, the lawn, and the apartment.
  9. Prohibited areas are the main house, the garage, the back patio and the eastern fenced off areas. 
  10. Subleasing the property is strictly prohibited.
  11. Any guest or visitor engaging in or arrested for any illegal activity, including the possession of illegal substances are in violation of this agreement.
  12. The Renter must comply with all noise ordinances. Music & noise levels must be kept below 70db. (a normal conversation is ~60db, a vacuum cleaner is ~70db i.e. about twice as loud as perceived by the human ear)
  13. No loud sounds (above 70db) are allowed after 9:00 pm or before 9:00 am and no amplified sound at any time unless authorized in writing from the Host.
  14. Fireworks are prohibited by local law, both on private and public property.
  15. No pets are allowed without specific written permission.
  16. No-smoking is allowed on the property. Smoking on property is a violation of this agreement.
  17. COMMERCIAL EVENTS, OR EVENTS WHERE ATTENEDEES ARE CHARGED A FEE TO ATTEND ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE HOST.

EVENT CLOSING & PROCEDURE

All event activities must be completed by the stipulated end time of our agreement.

That means for example that all music must stop, the pool must be emptied of people, the birthday song completed before the event end-time, the jumping tent plugged out and emptied of people, and movies terminated even if they are not completed, etc.

You will be given a grace period of 10 minutes after your event end time to finish up any late activity. Going beyond your 10-minute grace period can cost you an additional hour fee.

Below are some tidying up guidelines for your convenience:

  • do a general cleanup
  • remove all decorations, tents, tables, chairs, etc.
  • bag all your garbage and either take it with you, or put it in the garbage can outside the side entrance
  • close the windows in the living & dining rooms
  • turn off all lights & fans in the apartment
  • close the apartment door but do NOT lock
  • close and LOCK the side entrance gate on exit

We will review the property in the morning ... we only do reviews in daylight.
Once all is good, we will refund you your damage deposit

DAMAGE DEPOSIT:

When required, the damage deposit is US$75 / BB$150.

The damage deposit will be returned to you or pre-authorization released within 3 days after the event provided that the following provisions are met:

  • No damage is done to the property or its furnishings
  • A general cleanup and tiding of the property is done after the event
  • There are no items missing from the property
  • All keys are returned
  • There are no violations of the rental agreement linked below.

REFUND POLICY:

- 60 days or more before check-in all monies paid are refundable.

- within 60 days before check-in, your 25% reservation deposit is nonrefundable, all other payments are refundable.

- 7 days before check-in, no payments are refundable.
Additionally, if payment is not made in full by this time, the Host at his sole discretion may cancel the reservation and refund ALL monies paid.

PROPERTY LAYOUT:

The property is on a rectangular lot that is approx. 11,000sq ft, with one building in the center, of the property. The building consist primarily of a private residence, with an apartment.

The apartment is located upstairs on the northern end of the building, facing a 3,000 sq ft lawn/open area. The pool is located on the opposite southern end of the property.

Guest enter & exit via the side entrance on to a private road where parking is available.
